God’s Love for you
God loves you and He has a wonderful plan for your life. It all began when God came to earth as a man called Jesus. John 3:16 states that God loved the world and sent His only Son, Jesus, to be the sacrifice for our sins. Everyone who chooses to believe in Jesus is given eternal life and their sins are forgiven!
Your Choice
How do I know that I have sinned? Scripture tells us in Romans 3:23 that everyone has sinned and chosen to follow their own desires. The result of that decision has disastrous consequences for us. Romans 6:23 tells us that the wage (or what we owe) for our sin is eternal death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord! This eternal life in Heaven is a free gift, we cannot earn it, nor do we deserve it. God graciously gives it to us when we choose to believe in Him as our Savior and Lord. He has paid our debt by dying on the cross of Calvary over 2000 years ago and now we can enjoy life because of His love and sacrifice.
Accepting this Gift
How do I accept this free gift? Romans 10:9 tells us that, “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, then we will be saved.” Ephesians 2:8 tells us that it is “by grace, we are saved through faith.” A prayer of faith telling Jesus that you believe you have sinned, you are sorry for your sin and you believe He died to take away your sins is how you accept this wonderful gift! He is waiting for you and He has a wonderful plan for your life…
